Awesome Photos Kevin. Love the gain effect and Girl in Kitchen shot is great ;)

The last photo is absolutely breathtaking! I just love it!

Stunning works, they each tell their own story. Brilliant editing Ken!

This is great, Ken. Very creative and innovative scenes here. Can feel the fun!

Really like these shots Ken. Amazing. Especially the top 4

Your use of colour really makes the images POP! Well done keep it up.

These are great Photos!!!

I really honestly do not really like and do not quite understand digital imaging, but for this one looks minimalist and attractive

Amazing work. Keep it coming. very inspirational. cheers.

Very Nice Ken. Added some new features. You now get emails on comments. Ever evolving. Got some exciting stuff happening on pads. Keep an eye out.

Yes it's Brooke. Shot her many years ago.. found the film and added the nature which is 3 separate images, taken from Michigan, New York and Vegas (the pool reflections). The original concept was shot with a Bonsai tree and had her coming our of it with smoke. I wanted to update the idea a bit with a more natural feel. The other was created back in 2000 and had a fake feeling to it. And at the time I was not doing my own retouching. I had a partner then for that stuff. Now that I can do what I think, I felt it best to create something new. All others below I retouched as well.

Nice Ken!! Who is the lady in Red... Not Brooke Shields?

How the hell did you get that watercolor effect in the last shot (ballerinas)? was that a fluke with a shaky camera + some photoshop? Like it! and shot #4 is real nice...could see it on a huge wall.

Love it Ken, great work and beautiful models. Very cool to look at! How did you do the last one with the motion blur effect.. open shutter.. or Photoshop?

Hello Filter Foundry.

My name is Ken Pivak and for the past 25 years I have been an advertising photographer, working with ad agencies, art directors, fashion designers, and many others. I started my career in 1981 assisting commercial shooters, while attending the School of Visual Arts in NYC. Graduating with a BFA in Photography 1985, I continued to work with known greats as Eric Meola, Co Rentmeester, Ryszard Horowitz, Eric Michelson... and many others, mostly with national advertising.
I reached the end of my assisting in 1989 when hired by a senior art director from Grey Advertising to shoot a National hair campaign for the Zotos Corporation. Thus my career began and continues still today.
Currently I created a show about photography and now find myself in front of the camera, as well as writing scripts, directing, filming and editing in Final Cut to complete my videos. After years of getting others proud of the images they're in, I wanted to turn my life around to help others become proud of the images they take... designed for beginners and those who had never picked up a camera.
Seeing how our business has changed in so many ways I did not want to lose the very passions I feel as a photographer. I find by showing everyone that photography is not only fun, but inspiring as well, my life as a photographer now feels as enlightened as it did the very first day I received that first hair campaign.

I will be adding many more images as the year begins to take shape. My time with my show does keep me quite busy, but my love to shoot and to constantly test the edges of my vision will last forever. I appreciate the social aspect of this site and how we can all share in our feelings as well as our talents. I thank you for viewing and for any inquires about my work.

warm regards,
Ken Pivak

Photographer with a love for conceptual imagery.
