A story about my friend Mel and her pup Emma. Emma was named after her mother, Emma. I was asked to create this series of images for my friend because her mother Emma was dying, and she wanted to record a moment before she left her daughter only 3 months later. I've have photographed Mel for over 20 years, but this series captures her heart.
